Full day Nairobi excursion

OVERVIEW.

Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya, the name Nairobi comes from a Maasai word enkare used to mean cool water. Nairobi is a famous city with plenty of sites and attractions that attract tourist. East Africa Exotic safaris has put together an amazing excursion just for you! The excursion is comprised of a morning game drive at Nairobi National park followed by a walk at the animal orphanage to enhance your game viewing experience. Lunch is at the famous Carnivore restaurant and then followed by a cultural experience at the Bomas of Kenya.

BRIEF ITINERARY.

Around 8:00am: Drive to Nairobi National Park.
Around 11:00am: Visit Nairobi Animal Orphanage.
At 1:00pm: Have lunch at Carnivore Restaurant.
Drive to Bomas Of Kenya at 2:30pm.
Drive back to Nairobi/ drop off at the hotel.

What would be better and brighter than enjoying the sunrise from the horizon at the great and famous city of Nairobi? Take a cool and relaxed game drive at Nairobi national park as you view the wildlife. The park is the only one in the world where you can see the skyscrapers of the capital city as you do your game drives. In fact, you can take photos of the animals with the background being some of the tall building in the city like the Times Tower, Kenyatta International Conference Center etc.
The animals you are likely to see are; Black rhinos, lions, cheetah, leopard, buffaloes, hyenas, giraffe, baboons, wildebeests, zebras etc.

At around 11:00am, drive out of the Nairobi National park and walk into the animal orphanage where you will also see 3 of the BIG 5; buffalo, leopard and a lion. Animals here are enclosed in cages and are a collection of orphaned, hurt and abandoned animals from all over the country. After the visit to animal orphanage you will head direct to the famous carnivore restaurant for a mouth watering barbecue lunch.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Bomas of Kenya for a taste of diverse cultures this beautiful destination. This will be the end of your one day excursion which will be concluded by a drive back to town or a drop off at your hotel in the city.
